We’re EAL
AgriServices Group
Ellesmere Agricultural Limited
A family-owned contracting business working across Canterbury’s arable and dairy country. What started in 2002 as three families with one standard has grown into a full-service operation covering bale stacks, baling and cartage, cultivation and drilling, cartage, and supplementary feed.
We’re the one growers call when the job has to be done properly — because the machine’s clean, the operator knows what they’re doing, and the crop was cut when it was ready, not when the clock said so.
Why EAL
We wait for the
crop, not the clock.
Independent auditors tell us our silage hits the ideal dry matter range almost every time — because we harvest when the material is ready, not on a fixed schedule.
Decades of hands-on
experience.
We don’t just process feed — we’ve fed it to stock ourselves, for years. We know what works in the paddock and what doesn’t.
We embrace
what’s next.
AI, GPS auto-track, telemetrics, and a genuine willingness to bring in the right technology and the right people. We respect the history that got us here — it’s not going to get us to where we’re going.
Reliable, punctual,
well presented.
Clean machines. Tidy operators. Turning up when we say we will.
Our flagship service.
Instead of wrapping every bale individually, we bale, stack and cover the whole lot as one — cheaper, zero wastage, and no mountain of plastic to deal with afterwards. It’s a specialist job (get it wrong and you’re left with an expensive pile of compost), and it’s what we’re best at.
